We can help and advise on future energy needs and ways to reduce costs, in turn reducing your buildings carbon footprint .
COMMERCIAL ENERGY RATING:
Our registered non-domestic BER assessors are located in Dublin & Kilkenny and will travel throughout Ireland providing BER & Energy Consultancy for all your building requirements.
HOME ENERGY RATING:
Our domestic BER assessors are based in Dublin, Kilkenny, Waterford and Tipperary, and are qualified to carry out BER on all new and existing dwellings.
AIR PRESSURE TESTING:
Air tightness testing for new and existing buildings. Air tightness testing measures the flow of air in a building, highlighting areas of heat loss. The test aims to ensure that there are no gaps in the envelope of a building and that there is complete control over the buildings ventilation system.
All house types will be required by law to carry out an air tightness test and comply with an air leakage value of 10m3 / m2 or less, for planning applications received on or after 1st July 2008.
The only satisfactory way to measure air tightness is by using specially designed blower door test equipment.
For Building Energy Rating, purposes, the test provides the actual air leakage result instead of the broadly inaccurate default value, which can penalise your certificate rating.
THERMAL IMAGING:
Thermography is now the leading non-intrustive non-destructive tool used in an ever widening range of areas.
All objects -273° or (absolute zero, 0 Kelvin) emits infrared energy and we exploit this using IR imaging system with a view to identifying previously unidentifiable faults.
